How to Set Up My Smart Camera?

Below are tips and steps for you to follow to connect your camera.

Warm Tips:
1. Please connect your phone with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi first, then connect your camera (the camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi). If you are using a dual-band router, please ensure that your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi name is different from the 5GHz Wi-Fi.
2. For security reasons, the camera does not support public Wi-Fi.
3. Keep the camera and router as close as possible when connecting the camera.
4. In the process of setting up the camera and network connection, if the App prompts that the network name or password is too long, or the password has special symbols, please ignore the prompt and click"Got it" to continue.

Before setup:
If you have read all the above tips, make sure you have 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
Now, let's plug your camera in and reset it
Press and hold the reset button of the camera for about 5 seconds.
After that, you will hear the prompt tone and see the indicator light flashes red/white. 
Then you can connect the camera to the App step by step.

















Set-up steps
1, Open the App, click on the "+" in the top right corner, then click on "Add Device"
Or just click on "Add Device" in the middle of the home page
2, Choose the camera model 
3, click on “Confirm that the indicator is blinking” and then click on” Next”. 
4, Select 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, then enter your Wi-Fi name and password correctly and click “Next”.
5, use the camera to scan the QR code directly on your phone (15-20 cm), you may need to move your phone up and down, left and right slightly and slowly.
6, When you hear the prompting voice, tap on “I Heard a Prompt” and wait.
7, The APP will tell you that the camera has been added successfully, then your camera's light will turn steady green/blue/white.



Troubleshooting :
1. If your Wi-Fi network name or SSID doesn’t indicate whether the network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz:
Try to check the Wi-Fi network via computer. Please refer to How to Find Out if You Have 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi Network for details.
Contact your router manufacturer about how to connect your mobile device to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
 2. If your router has the same Wi-Fi network name for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands, your Security device will automatically connect to the 2.4GHz band.
